Karen Chartier, Fine Jewelry

“I absolutely love jewelry. I think about it every day! As a small child, I loved to look at colored stones and was mesmerized by the many reflections they showed. When I was 9 years old, my mother and I took a ride to the jeweler to purchase earrings for my newly pierced ears. I stood in awe, watching the jeweler closely examining the jewels with his magnifier sitting atop his head. I decided then and there I wanted to be a jeweler one day. I finally realized my dream many years later, attending the acclaimed North Bennet Street School, in Boston's North End.

My handmade jewelry reflects my taste for solid, well made pieces with a Victorian flair; they will last for generations to come. What better investment is there than a hand made piece of jewelry that can one day be handed down to a loved one.”
