“I’m a Norwich artist who works in oils and watercolors. I worked at my former printing company where I was a commercial artist. In that capacity I have done illustrations for several local businesses’ publications: a brochure for the Backus Foundation, artwork for posters for The Waterford Speedbowl and the Norwich Navigators.”
“In the last five years I have been concentrating on what I believe can be called frescos. I create these works by turning a pre-stretched canvas over and filling the well created by the wood stretchers with lightweight spackling compound. Once that is dry, I draw in my scene and paint it using watercolors. This has been very exciting for me.”
