Celebrating Romance

15, 2010, Pomfret, CT … Just in time for Valentine's Day, Celebrations
Gallery & Shoppes' will host a “Celebrating Romance”
Exhibition. This show will run from February 6th to 28th
in the gallery’s Grand Foyer and will feature jewelry, glass, photography
and original artwork with a love & romance twist.
Enjoy complimentary champagne and sweet treats during the opening weekend’s “Meet the Artists” Receptions, February 6 & 7 from 1-4PM. In addition, during the opening weekend, Celebrations Gallery will donate a portion of each purchase of an exhibition piece to Day Kimball Hospital's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Programs.
Give your sweetheart the special treat of a unique, handmade gift and help support healthy hearts in the community at the same time. Local and regional artists participating in the “Celebrating Romance” exhibition include Michelle Bartholic (photography), Emily Boosahda (oils & watercolors), Rachel Girshick (fine gold & silver jewelry), Lucy Guiliano (photography), Susan Larrow (acrylic paintings), Anna Mancini (hand beaded jewelry), Nancy McGrath (fused glass), Dan Roy (oil paintings), Cynthia Saari (lampwork bead jewelry), Regina Thomas (multimedia collage), Susan Underwood (lampwork bead jewelry), John Volpacchio (hand blown glass), Margaret Young (sterling silver & gemstone jewelry), and more.

addition, during the “Meet the Artists” receptions on Saturday
& Sunday, Celebrations will host author ZsuZsa Simandy for
a book signing of her new work Gathering Roses, Thorns and All--Reflections
on a Charmed Life.
