January 9, 2007, Pomfret, CT … Starting in January, Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes will have new retail hours, as follows:
- Wednesday - Saturday 11 – 5
- Sunday 11 – 4

Celebrations also rings in the new year with fresh, exciting pieces to add to our collection of work from over 50 local and regional artists and artisans. We represent all categories, from fine art canvases in oil and watercolor to whimsical decorative art to functional pieces such as furniture, pottery and weaving. Celebrations Gallery showcases artwork in ten spacious rooms on two floors of a grand old Queen Anne Victorian.
SALE! For the month of January, Celebrations is offering 50% OFF select tea merchandise & gifts, including Simpson & Vail loose tea, Splendid Specialties tea cookies and Salon Tea Bath & Beauty products.
New classes and workshops are now scheduled for January through March. Classes are held in Celebrations third floor studio space and are open to the public. Most are taught by our exhibiting artists. While we will be adding more classes (please consult our website or call for the most up-to-date schedule), current offerings include:
- Hands-on art classes, such as watercolor painting and making whimsical decorative boxes
- A FREE marble sculpture demonstration
- Jewelry-making workshops, including working with “Fine Silver” and making beaded jewelry
- “Stress Release” and “Feng Shui” workshops
