4PM for a book signing with local artist, illustrator and author
Normand Chartier. Come meet this accomplished
watercolorist and internationally celebrated illustrator, specializing in
children's literature. This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary
seasonal refreshments will be served.
Chartier's luminous impressionistic watercolor paintings have won numerous
awards and are found in over 250 public and private collections around the
entire country. His award-winning illustration work has delighted children
in scores of books spanning three decades.
A selection of children's literature plus Chartier's recent
art book, "My Maine, Coastal Watercolors" will be available
for purchase at this event. Celebrations also showcases and sells unframed
original illustration artwork plus framed originals and unframed reproductions.
