MARBLE SCULPTOR, FREE DEMONSTRATION
At Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes
February 6, 2007, Pomfret, CT … Willimantic Artist Richard Jaworowski
will offer a FREE marble carving demonstration on Saturday,
February 17, 2007 from 1-3PM. It will take place in the third floor
studio of Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes in Pomfret.
Join
this renowned “sculptor of dreams” as he shares his secrets
for releasing natural beauty within stone. A 20-year resident of Willimantic,
Jaworowski’s work has been exhibited in galleries in New England,
Pennsylvania and Florida and was selected for the 42nd Annual National Sculpture
Society Exhibition in New York City. His sculptures are also included in
public and private collections nationwide, including the Museum of Art &
Science in Daytona Beach, Florida, the UCONN Medical Center and the Baystate
Medical Center in Massachusetts.
In his demonstration, Jaworowski will share the process, the materials, the tools and the inspirations – a meld of both representational and non-representational approaches. His hope is that you will find an intrinsic and kinesthetic pleasure in each sculpture.
