26, 2009, Pomfret, CT . . . To kick off the holiday shopping season, Celebrations
Gallery & Shoppes invites you to a "Small Works" Art
Exhibition & Sale.
In the tradition of many galleries during this time, Celebrations' "Small Works" show is designed to entice customers to give the ultimate gift of original artwork. During this show, we will offer a variety of original, framed art less than 200 square inches in a range of media, all under $200.
The "Small Works: Artful Treasures" Exhibition & Sale will
run from November 18th - January 3rd. There will be a "Meet
the Artists" Reception on Saturday & Sunday, November
21 & 22 from 1 to 4pm, featuring complimentary tea and sweet
treats. Sixteen different local and regional artists will be featured, working
in a variety of media and styles including watercolors, oils, acrylics,
monotypes and photography plus creatively "framed" jewelry pieces.

Celebrations also announces Extended Holiday Hours starting
November 27th through Christmas. Extended hours will be Wednesday –
Saturday from 11AM to 6PM and Sunday from 11AM to 5PM. We will also be OPEN
Monday and Tuesday, December 21 and 22 from 11AM to 6PM. Celebrations will
be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We will close
at 3PM on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

of a much-anticipated tea room in early 2010, which will offer by reservation
monthly themed teas plus specialty teas for groups.
