CT Open House Day at Celebrations
Pomfret,
CT, June 2, 2010....Join us at Celebrations Gallery & Shoppes on Saturday,
June 12th, for Connecticut's Annual Open House Day.
Come meet and chat with our local artists as they demonstrate their creative techniques. Several different artists will be on-site throughout the day, painting plein air (weather permitting, indoors if rain), including Cheryl Economos, Jennifer Hart, Rett Hart, Donna Lange, Deborah Padden.
Jewelry artists Janice Doner, Anna Mancini and Margaret Young will also demonstrate their craft, and Kari Kline will be painting on silk. Susan Underwood will create lampwork glass beads using a propane/oxygen torch from 1-2:30PM.
From
11AM to 1PM, Val Bruzzi will be on hand with a
horse & rider model along with some of her art students from Cranston
West High School who will also be painting in various media. Susan
Rosenstone Larrow (shown here at last year's event) will be painting
from 11 - 12:30PM.
Also enjoy complimentary tastings of Harney & Sons Iced Teas and Tea Forte Cocktail Infusions plus Celebrations' own home-made biscotti.
