Artist Statement
“Inspiration ~ Light has always held a fascination for me. Especially when its effect is seen with glass as it transmits, reflects and refracts through the medium. As temperatures change in the kiln and the glass reacts there is a kind of magic – sometimes controlled and other times a complete surprise.”
Biography
A varied number of careers -- psychiatric nursing, interior designer for health facilities, interior design professor at Kean University and College of NJ, proprietor of a metaphysical store, certified shiatsu practitioner, and yoga teacher led me to my path today. Hobbies such as gardening, quilting, fabric painting and photography stimulate my creative inspirations and supply me with infinite design possibilities.
Academic degrees include diploma in nursing, RN; Bachelor of Arts -Kean University, NJ; Master of Science - Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.
