Sephi Itzhaki“After making clothing for 20 years it was time for a change in medium. The steel is a contrast to the textile - is cold, ungiving, does not stretch or fold; it was the perfect choice for change. This is my fourth year making sculptures and metalwares. I use carbon steel, which I cut, weld and finish to create whimsical happy designs for home and garden.” |

William Stallman"What got me started making found object sculpture was walking in the woods. I found a lot of my material on stonewalls or in fields. These are things that farmers left there. I thought they said a lot about nature and people and thought they were beautiful. I was inspired to create ongoing nature, to bring into being sculptures of wild animals that are still keeping the planet spinning." |
