Artist Statement
“Art springs from desire: to write, to sing, to dance; to compose; color, shape, focus, blur, express.”
I create art on a daily basis as a technical illustrator in the aircraft engine industry. The creativity doesn’t stop at the end of my work day, as I search out interesting subjects to photograph. I am drawn to the lines, colors and textures found in ordinary objects.
Photography and classic cars are two things I particularly love. Strolling around a crowded car show searching for the ideal angle to shoot is a perfect setting for artistic expression.
Biography
Larry has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Hartford, Art
School. In addition to photography, he has exhibited oil, watercolor,
and acrylic paintings. Larry is also an accomplished keyboard musician.
He lives in central Connecticut with his wife and family.
