Sue Underwood, Lampwork Beads & Jewelry

“I have dabbled in many different forms of art in my lifetime, but four years ago I was introduced to glass and lampworking and it was love at first sight! When I’m working with glass, I am transported into a time machine, where hours simply turn into minutes. Glass is an expression of my thoughts and ideas – I love the colors, shapes, textures and patterns that can be found. My love for nature, the Southwest, people and places around me have all inspired me to create these little 'glass treasures'.” I was introduced to lampworking in the fall of 2002, at a class taught
by Lillana Cristea Glenn, and Sally Prasch. I have since studied with
Kate Fowle and Jim (the glass master) Smircich. I am currently a member
of Wet Canvas, Bead Designers International, and the Boston Chapter of
International Society of Glass Beadmakers. Back to Celebrations: |
